Since, it was a mystery thriller, the chases were bound to be there. His character mostly entices me because when faced with two alphas, he still does what his minds tells him too. But he very well deserves the prestige and accolades. But because of his superior thinking capabilities, we push him on a pedestal.
He is a powerhouse of chivalry and brains.Īs the story progresses, we realise that he too is a normal man like us. Initially, he appears like a dork but later on we meet his rather fun yet intellectual side. His character journey starts from this book and it develops step by step. But note that he is a man of wit and promptness. He is someone who won’t let his insecurities surface. Robert Langdon, if we have to understand him, is a man of complexities. It is an era changing novel if you understand it with its intricacies.
In this book, particularly, he has challenged faith and cults. I have always applauded him for his courage. He makes it a point to research in depth and come out with eye opening results. He is a devout researcher all his works are fictional but represents reality up to a level. Brown has been supremely detailed in all aspects of his book. It is through this book that the characterization starts. It led to the rise of Robert Langdon as a character. Even though Da Vinci Code was way more appreciated, this book is an underrated gem. Now, coming back to the book, Angels and Demons is a treasure.
He is a man of words and someone who would be sheerly proud of his work, even if it doesn’t end well. He passes on wisdom, sarcasm, and wit through his works. You know from the first line itself that the book is going to be a thrilling ride. Dan Brown is an impeccable author and a perfectionist. Robert Langdon at least once who was the most famous character created by Dan Brown.
